Jonathan Chen is currently the bass player for critically-acclaimed instrumental rock-outfit Ocean Of Fire and is one of Malaysia’s most promising up-and-coming young musicians.

He was awarded the Best Bass Player award at 2007′s Asian Beat competition and is also teaching bass techniques at the GR8 School of Performing Arts in Penang.

Currently, Jonathan performs with Tonal Alchemy headed by Wilson Quah at Thirty Two, Georgetown on weekends.
